MEDTRON Wireless, battery operated, fully digital user programmable double-head injector for contrast agent and physiological saline solution (NaCl) in the field of magnetic resonance imaging

The double-head injector is able to give a multiphase, program controlled injection of contrast agent and physiological saline solution (NaCI), from the two independent injection units

The motor, control and rechargeable batteries are integrated into a single compact unit

The injector among other qualities has a heated syringe holder with Easy Loading Syringe (ELS) 200 ml with touch screen control panel

It features tactile keys for manual piston movement, starting and stopping the injection and a graphical real-time display of the injection parameters or the pressure history

The injector features a "Keep-Vein-Open" (KVO) concept.

Up to 80 injection protocols can be defined and stored.

The injector offers both automatic filling via menu with volume input or
manual filling with variable speed

Filling speed:
1 to 5 m l/s , 1 - 200 ml, programmable in steps of 1 ml

Maximum pressure

21 bar (304 psi), programmable from 5 to 21 bar in 1 bar increments (72.5 to 304 psi in 14.5 psi increments)

Flow rate

0.1 - 10 ml/s, programmable in steps of 0.1 m l/s

Alternatively, input of flow rate or phase duration

Scan, Injection and Phase delays of 1-255 seconds

Wireless touch-screen remote control (corresponds to the control panel of the injector)
